I am a great grandson of Thomas Jefferson Stancil (56th) and Ella Cook Stancil. Could you pass my address to your legion member that is also related? I would really like to talk to family about our history....Thanks, Jim

Just following up to express my sincere gratitude for your attendance at the October 15 ceremony dedicating Moses McCollum's tombstone and for the remembrance page you placed on your web site. The words are simple and accurate and provide a glimpse of the man as husband, father, son, and soldier.

Trying to get in touch with ancestors of Pvt. Thomas Vincent. I am a great-great-great granddaughter. If you would kindly pass on my information to my relative.

Thank you.

My great-great-grandfather was Corporal Robert Low, with Company A, Cherokee Legion. He is buried at Sharp Mountain Baptist Church in Cherokee County. I did not see his name on your list of grave sites that were honored with the CSA flag... in case you'd like to add him. Thanks!

My great grandfather was Sgt. Major James E. Covington of Company I, 23rd, Georgian, and his father was Capt. A.J. Covington of Company E, Cherokee Legion. My other great great grandfather was John W. Massey of Company A, of the Cherokee Legion. I am looking for anyone that might have information on their burial sites, as they were buried somewhere in Cherokee County. I would like to see their graves honored for what they fought for.
